The Rain Falls Mainly on the Plain
(Errrrr?)
And boy, does it. The rainy season has officially begun with a daily thunderstorm scheduled for 11am bringing hail, downpours and wanton lightening. The first thunder sent us all giggling and running out of the office to gawp at this strange wet stuff that just kept on falling. Unfortunately we didn't unplug anything and the office drew the lightening like, well, like a lightening rod. Having a whole load of electrical equipment in the middle of a wilderness will do that. So there's David, nonchalantly carrying on with some work at the laptop while the rest of us run around like electrified chickens, when ZZZAP, the lightening strikes, the inverter explodes and David begins to look as though it propelled him to the eighties and back, stopping for a quick mullet on the way. Luckily he forgot the shell-suit. Well, it was fun the first day, but after a week of the window glass shaking everytime the thunder cracks overhead we may be just a teensy bit sick of it. At least I don't have to put up with it, I'm off to the Lake. Luckily for little old me and my pasty knees (even after two months in Africa) I've been offered a job at the Makuzi Beach resort (check the link) and am off to sweat for 6 weeks. Toodle-oo. Hang on, it'll rain there too. Bugger

Definitely your most cryptic post so far, Anna. Should there be some pictures to go with that title?
